Hey guys, David here!
Being a small business owner is one of the most rewarding things you can do.
Here at Plans for the Future, we spend a ton of time with other small business owners. Jumping from coffee shop to coffee shop, we all love to share our experiences, we think we share because we all know it helps our fellow man. We tend to be a cottage industry, working diligently alone from our home-based studios yet continually interested in how others are figuring out their day.
We find that surrounding ourselves with those who share their resources makes a big difference. To hear another's similar journey helps promote encouragement and a sense of success.
That's why we have decided to start sharing our own journey. We are not sure exactly how yet but we want to begin by providing our own take on what we have done so far in our own small business. Greg and I want to provide our own roadmap to encourage others and provide hope that it is possible. Sure there will be many screw-ups along the way but we will learn from them and we intend to share them here on this blog. More than anything we want to provide a resource for other small business owners to learn from our mistakes and see that we all have something to share.
Below is a small list of what we call Landscape Design Studio Resources. From computers to online training, the list is by no means complete but a great start none the less. As our business grows we will share more thoughts on what resources we use and training we can offer but for now, this will have to do.
